veilism collection
‘Veilism’ is a phrase that I have coined to describe hidden objects within my paintings that you might not necessarily expect e.g. a boat created from a vine of tomatoes; rocks made out of rugs; and a lemon tart masquerading as a sunflower, not to mention the big green forks! I enjoy using these objects to draw the viewer into the painting, and love seeing their reaction to these hidden gems. It promotes discussion and demonstrates that there is more to art than initial impressions. Details on the artworks below can be found in their appropriate gallery, with clues to the hidden gems underneath the image. See if you can see them all!
All original artwork, with prints available on request. Happy to create commissions, with alternative colour palettes to suit.
