2019 - 2020 Art

Welcome to my paintings created in 2019 and 2020. (Click on any image to see full image slide show.)

I had two big timelines to work towards during this time; the first, a solo exhibition at the Talla Na Mara Centre on the Isle of Harris scheduled for 2020, and the second, the opening of our Open Studio and Gallery.

However, both these events were postponed because of the COVID 19 pandemic, and so lots of work to display, just no-where to display it!

Never the less, I enjoyed working with Harris Tweed, and the exhibition has been re-scheduled for 2022.

A vibrant palette, texture, ‘veilism’, and bleach on ink are still my goto choices when creating a piece.

All original artwork, with prints available on request. Happy to create commissions,  with alternative colour palettes to suit.
