2021 Art

This year has been a very exciting year for me as an artist, as it saw the opening of Studio74 Open Studio and Gallery in Ballantrae, South Ayrshire.

It is an exceptional space with two floors displaying work, and a studio with a view to die for overlooking Loch Ryan.

The village and surroundings have inspired most of my work this year. There is so much to paint .. sunsets, the harbour, and of course Ailsa Craig.

I’m still drawn to hiding things in my ‘Veilism’ pieces, and working in bleach and ink; now adding a touch of colour using aquarelle crayons.

All original artwork, with prints available on request. Happy to create commissions,  with alternative colour palettes to suit.
